Creating content with a live link (in beta)
👀 Note: This feature is in beta and not available to all accounts yet. It will be rolled out to all accounts in 2026!
You can display content from a website directly inside Gain to share it with your clients and easily gather their feedback and approvals. All you need is the URL to paste it in Gain.
💡 Use Live Links to share and collect feedback from your clients for online content like ad banners, emails, newsletters, and websites!
Creating a live link
Click on + New Content on the top right of your workspace and choose the option live link under Marketing Assets.
This will open the content editor. Now, paste the URL in the live link field and click Apply.
The web page will display in the preview window on the left.
You can scroll up and down over the preview to navigate the page, just like you would if you were viewing the page in your browser.
After completing all the content details (like title, description, and choosing which folder to save it in), hit Save, and you can send it to your client for approval just like any other content type!
Approving a live link
Your client will see the live link in their Approvals queue, along with any other content that is pending their review. Here, they can open it clicking on Click to view, right below the preview.
This will open the large preview where they can easily review the content and either approve or request changes.
Content not loading?
If the web page is not loading in the preview:
- Make sure you pasted the correct URL.
- Make sure the URL you pasted is public and therefore, can be viewed by anyone.
- Make sure the URL you pasted allows our domain to embed the page.
- Click on the Refresh arrow icon on the top left to reload the page. This will do the trick if the reason was an internet connection error.
