How to Add Alt Text

Adding descriptive text to social media posts is an important step to ensure those visually impaired individuals can understand the content of the images in your post. Alt text is a short description of the image that is read aloud by a screen reader for those who can't see the image.

This article will show you how to add alt text to Facebook and Twitter posts.

1. Start by creating a new post. 
2. Select the post format Photo.
3. Drag and drop your image(s).
4. Once you have uploaded the image, click More (...) and select Add Alt text.

5. Write a short description of the image in the Alt Text field and select the checkmark to save.
